Ways We Help

If your family is struggling to keep your cupboards and fridge full of healthy, nutritious food, the Issaquah Food & Clothing Bank can help.

Here’s what you need to know:

  • You can visit one time per week

  • ID is helpful, but not required

  • We require proof of address for each member of the household within the first three visits to IFCB.

  • Under current COVID-19 protocol, we are distributing pre-packed boxes of non-perishable food and a bag of fresh produce. When we return to normal operations, our goal is to provide about half of a family’s food needs for a week . At that time, you will receive 2-5 bags of groceries depending on your family size

    • 1-2 people: 2 bags

    • 3 people: 3 bags

    • 4-7 people: 4 bags

    • 5+ people: 5 bags

Current food bank operations limit access to our building and food boxes will be distributed through a drive-up service at our front and alley-side doors. Under normal operations, you can visit our market where we have shopping carts to make your shopping experience easier and more efficient.
Our food bank serves the following zip codes: 98027, 98029, 98059 and 98075. See our Coronavirus Response FAQ's for a detailed schedule for accessing resources during the COVID-19 outbreak.

When we return to our market shopping model (once the high threat of COVID-19 has passed), we recommend you bring your own reusable shopping bags.  Your bags should be the size of a normal paper grocery bag. If you don't have bags, we are happy to provide paper grocery bags for you to shop with.

*Are you in need of delivery assistance during the COVID-19 outbreak? Please visit our temporary delivery requirements page for more information.

Our Clothing Bank is currently closed for the duration of the COVID-19 outbreak, however diapers WILL remain available during the above-listed shopping hours.

Under normal operations, the clothing bank provides an assortment of items, depending on donations. This usually includes clothing, shoes, accessories and household items. In addition, we can order items for your children (through age 12) from Eastside Baby Corner, giving us access to a great resource for infant and children’s clothes, baby gear, toys for all ages and much more.

We also often have camping gear for people who self-identify as being homeless and, depending on donations, can offer tents, sleeping bags and pads, tarps and warm clothing. These resources are still available during the COVID-19 outbreak.

Under normal operations:

  • Each household can take two bags of items each week from the Clothing Bank

  • Toiletries are available depending on donations

  • Diapers are available during your clothing bank shopping trip. If you only need diapers, please just come into the clothing bank - you don't need to wait in line to shop.
