Megan Edwin is privileged to work with an amazing team of volunteers who have dedicated months and years of their lives to helping neighbors in need.

Originally from the Metro Detroit area, Megan is the newest addition to the IFCB team. She earned her B.A. in political science from Albion College and a public policy concentration through Albion’s Gerald R. Ford Institute for Leadership in Public Policy and Service.  She is an AmeriCorps alumna and served as the Community Partnership and Volunteer Coordinator at two YouthBuild programs in Southwest Detroit. Her experience working with low-income young adults and impoverished communities in Detroit cemented her passion for social and economic justice.

It is her belief that the best way to change the world is by picking a small corner of it and doing as much good as you can, while you can.  She is an avid gardener, coffee enthusiast, Shakespeare lover and fan of film noir.
