The Issaquah Food & Clothing Bank (IFCB) serves an average of 400 households each week thanks to the amazing team of volunteers who come in each day to make that possible. Volunteers are needed to help accept clothing bank donations, issue receipts to donors, sort and hang new items and create outfit displays.

Wednesday Morning   9 am - 1:15 pm

Wednesday Afternoon   1:30 pm - 4 pm

Volunteer Tasks May Include:

  • Helping donors carry donations into the clothing bank
  • Issuing donation receipts
  • Sorting and displaying new items
  • Reorganizing display shelves and tidying up after shoppers have finished shopping
  • Creating outfit displays

General Safety Tips

  • Please notify a staff member if you have any lifting restrictions so we can prevent injuries.
  • Do not try to lift more than you know that you can lift.
  • Lift with a  buddy and ask for assistance if something looks like it might be too heavy for you.
  • Use gloves when sorting donations.

Volunteers must be at least 16 years old to participate. Other volunteer opportunties are available for teens under 16. For more details please check the hyperlinked list on our volunteer page.
