Volunteering fun for the whole family.
Every other month, PCC Natural Markets purchases bulk foods to donate at local food banks. They organize food bank packaging work parties to portion out all of this great food into family sized portions for distibution. These are family friendly volunteer events and there is no minimum age to participate.
Volunteers can follow this link to register (you do not need to sign up through IFCB). Volunteers interested in bringing a group (church groups, Boy Scouts, Girl Scout Troops, youth groups, etc.) can contact PCC Community Relations at 206-547-1222 or email: firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
What: Portioning bulk foods like granola, pancake mix, flour, sugar, raisins/cranberries/ banana chips/dried fruit, etc.
When: Monday Nights (every other month), 7 pm - 9 pm

If you arrive early, please use the side door in the ally. The door is "Hulk green" and may be locked when you arrive. Please ring the bell and we'll arrive to greet you. We ask that volunteers use the side door because customers may still be shopping and we try to maintain client privacy.
