We often get donations of large quantities. We could use a lot of help in portioning out these large donations into smaller quantities which will allow us to meet the needs of more of our neighbors. No heavy lifting required. You will be seated most of the time. We may create an assembly line to put together "Power Packs" (healthy snacks for local students in need over winter break). Also, we'll occasionally assemble sock packs for people experiencing homelessness.

Issaquah, WA 98027
Please go to the double doors located on the right side of the building used for collecting donations. (Our front door can sometimes be crowded with clients)
Why it matters:
The Issaquah Food & Clothing Bank currently serves somewhere between 400 and 450 local households per week by providing groceries, clothing, diapers, toys, books, home goods, personal care items and much, much more. All of this is made possible by volunteers who donate their time. Last year IFCB received more than 1 million pounds of food. The work that goes into collecting, transporting, sorting and processing food happens because volunteers show up. Every bit of care and kindness that you put into volunteerism matters and makes a difference in our mission to create a hunger free community.
