Mike Hatada joined the Issaquah Food and Clothing Bank because of its commitment to assisting the community with high-level service, food, clothing, and other essentials. He believes that food, in particular, is key not only to daily survival, but it also has the power to bring family, friends, and community together.
Mike moved to the Seattle area in order to attend the University of Washington where he received a master’s degree in international studies. The Puget Sound’s natural wonders, culinary delights, and three professional baseball teams have kept him here. In his free time, Mike enjoys putting together his next gourmet meal or running/hiking through the Issaquah Alps, the Cascades, and the Olympics with his wife, son, and dog.
